This policy explains what information Brevä Soap Co. collects through brevasoap.com and how we use it. Brevä Soap Co. is a trading name of SIGA Property LLC, Regus Suites, Suite 517, 254 S Main Street, New City, NY 10956 ("we", "us"). Questions: info@brevasoap.com.
What we collect
- Your bag. The letters you add to your bag are stored in your own browser so the bag is still there when you come back. We don't receive them until you check out.
- Email sign-ups. If you join our list, we keep your email address and, if you give it, a date you'd like a gift reminder for. Our emails are sent through Klaviyo, which stores your address and tells us whether our emails are opened.
- Family letters. If you save your family's letters, we keep the first names you typed (optional) and the letters, under a private link only you have. Ask us and we'll delete it.
- Your account. If you sign in, we keep your email address, when you last signed in, and any letters you save. Signing in uses a one-time link sent to your email; we never ask for a password.
- Messages. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply.
- Visit statistics. We use analytics cookies to see how many people visit, which pages they view and where they came from. This tells us what works; it isn't used to identify you.
Orders and payment
When you pay by card on brevasoap.com, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, shipping address, what you ordered and any gift note, and we keep these records for delivery, customer service, tax and accounting.
Orders ship from Amazon's US warehouses through Amazon's fulfilment service, so we share your name, shipping address and gift note with Amazon to deliver your order.
If you check out on Amazon.com instead, Amazon's Privacy Notice applies to your order, payment and delivery details.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising.
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Email info@brevasoap.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Cookies
We use your browser's storage for your bag and analytics cookies for visit statistics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the shop still works.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
